Studio Update: Summer 2022
.
This recent summer blew right by…as it tends to do. Following up my big solo show and two murals, I decided to take some time to explore the city I live in even more while reconnecting with people I hadn’t seen since pre-pandemic. I have also been wanting to get back to my old days of hosting events within my studio space — getting people together, inspiring conversation, and creating community — which is exactly what I did. The small crew of artists within my studio building that have only deepened their studio practice came together to host yet another Open Studio. And this time hoping to make it at ongoing thing. In my typical fashion, I decided to make the event a moment to showcase a new set of smaller work that serve as another jump off point to some larger work to follow.
