STATEMENT

This body of work centers on imperfection as part of growth.

What began from a personal reset, working through cycles of breakdown and rebuilding, gradually expanded into a deeper awareness of how we all move through change. The pieces hold moments that are often hard to name: tension, release, and the in-between states where something new begins to take shape.

Transformation is a consistent thread. The work reflects a shift in identity. Letting go of what no longer fits while staying connected to what came before.

Water is fundamental to both the process and the meaning. It moves pigment across the surface, creating fluid, atmospheric passages, and is also used in forming heavier, cement-based elements that harden into more permanent structures. This balance between fluidity and solidity mirrors the experience of navigating uncertainty and finding footing again.

Ultimately, the work is about resilience. How we adapt, rebuild, and continue forward while carrying the imprint of life experience.
